2015 WYDAHO RENDEZVOUS SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Here is a look at our 2015 Schedule so far. 

Pre-registration: Adult is $59/registered person through June 31st, $69 July 1 to July 31st, $85 August 1st through to event. Online registration closes Thursday night, August 31st at Midnight, 9pm. Kids 8 to 14 are $39.  Kids 7 and under can attend the festival, but if they want a lift pass and wrist band they need to register under the kid catagory.  Onsite registration: $85, but we cannot garuntee all goodie bag swag and t-shirt sizes will be available after August 31st.

Clinic registration here.  Skills clinics are only available to registered attendees and cost $35/clinic.

Friday, September 4th
7:30 - Snorkel's open, serving breakfast until 11, coffee and ice cream until 5:30pm.
10am -6:00pm - Packet and wrist band pick-up, onsite registration and clinic/ride sign-up at Grand Targhee Resort
Noon - 4:00pm - Demo bikes available, free to festival registrants. Please bring your photo ID and credit card. For demo bike companies click here

11:00am - Branding Iron Grill Opens. Serving lunch 11-5, dinner 5-9:30.
11:30am - Trap Bar & Grill opens at Grand Targhee Resort. Serving food until 7pm.
1:00pm - Group ride: Andy's-Buffalo Soldier-Peaked-Action Jackson loop, meet at Grand Targhee Resort base area
2:00pm - Afternoon clinics begin. Limited to 12 per clinic. Clinic registration at https://wydahorendezvous.athlete360.com/ through August 31, or on-site at registration booth during festival.
2 - 4:00pm: MB 101: The Basics of Mountain Biking. Covering the basics like bike set up and fit and fundamental skills like braking, climbing and descending position and cornering. Instructors: Ian or Tracy Fitzpatrick, Cycle Right

2 -4pm: MB 102: Fancy Basics of Mountain Biking. A cross-country clinic taught rolling on the Targhee XC trails. Covering more advanced fundamentals like clearing obstacles and switchback cornering and suspension and bike set up. Instructors: Ian or Tracy Fitzpatrick, Cycle Right

2 - 4:00pm: MB101 Women's Only: Just like MB 101, but for ladies only! Covering the basics like bike set up and fit and fundamental skills like braking, climbing and descending position and cornering. Instructor: Amanda Carey
3:00pm – Group ride: Tour "D" Ghee, meet at Grand Targhee Base Area

SATURDAY, SETEMBER 5TH

9:00am-4:00pm - Demo bikes available, free, to festival registrants. Please bring your photo ID and credit card.
9:00am - X-C Race Start
9:00am - Group ride: Teton Pass DH rides, meet at Fitzgerald's Bicycles.
9:00am - Group ride: Phillips Ridge ride, meet at Fitzgerald's Bicycles.
9:00am - Group ride: Adventure Ride Decoster Trail with Mitch, meet at Habitat.
9:00am - Morning clinics begin. Limited to 12 per clinic. Clinic registration at https://wydahorendezvous.athlete360.com/ through August 31, or on-site at registration booth during festival.
9:00am-11:30: Intro to Downhill: Take some rides up the chairlift and learn everything from the key fundamental skills to downhilling (cornering, braking points, line selection, bike park etiquette) to suspension set up and riding gear/protection. Instructors: Ian & Tracy Fitzpatrick, Cycle Right
10:00am - Group ride: Rail Trail Ride, meet at Peaked Sports.
10:00am - Group Adaptive program ride: Lift served, meet at Grand Targhee base area
11:00am - Branding Iron Grill Opens. Serving lunch 11-5, dinner 5-9:30.
11:30am - Trap Bar & Grill opens at Grand Targhee Resort. Serving food until 7pm.
11:00am - Group ride: Andy's to Millcreek with shuttle ride, meet at Grand Targhee base area
1:00pm - Downhill Group Ride Intermediate/Advanced, meet at Grand Targhee base area. Requires lift pass, included with Festival Registration

9:00am - Group ride: Red Creek via Spooky, meet at Fitzgerald's Bicycles.

2015 Race Information

The Grand Targhee Teton dirt classic

Point to point style x-c race and a Super D race, with the combined overall champion.
Field limit of 150 racers

Stage #1
Saturday September 5th -9:00am – Grand Loop- point 2 point x-c race 25 mile race,
25 mile long course with 4200' vertical feet of elevation. Starts at base area – Up the Shoshone rd – Shoshone trail, More Cow Bell, to Perma-grin, Rick's Basin to Northwood's/ Quakie, back to base area and out the PRT rd to Peaked trail, Ain't Life Grand to 38 Special, Up Colter's Escape, Buffalo Soldier and back on Andy's.
X-C Race entry includes race shirt and event water bottle -$50 until 9/3/15,day of $65
Prize $ 1st men/ women $300, 2nd men /women $200, 3rd men/women $100

Stage #2 Sunday September 6th -10:00am "Wydaho Super D course-
9.9 mile long course with 3,952' vertical feet of elevation change starts on Grand Travers Trail to Upper Buffalo Drop to Rock Chuck intersection then descends Bullwinkle to the Targhee base area, a ride up Andy's to the cut off on Buffalo Soldier, then descends Colter's Escape to Mill Creek Trail and continues do descend down the Mill Creek Trail to Teton Canyon.
Super D Race entry includes race socks; lift pass $40 until 9/3/15, day of $60
Prize $ 1st men/ women $300, 2nd men /women $200, 3rd men/women $100

Wydaho Rendezvous Bike Festival participants will get a free lunch for each day they race.

Overall Dirt King/ Queen
Overall racers must use the SAME bike for both races.
Both races entry includes race socks, shirt/water bottle and lifts pass for super D - $85 until 9/3/15, $110
Prize $ 1st men/ women $500, 2nd men /women $300, 3rd men/women $200, 4th men/women $100, 5th men /women $100
The overall champions would be decided by a point system not overall time

Overall racers must use the SAME bike for both races.
There will be a mandatory bike weigh-in and parts check starting at 8:00am each morning at the start line. No switching of parts or modifying of parts. The bike must weigh the same each day, or rider is bumped from the Overall Dirt King & Queen category.

A point's tie will default to the riders DH finish position.
