2015 WYDAHO RENDEZVOUS SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

All Your Event Info is Here!  In August we will publish our event brochure listing everything from ride schedules to when the beer tent opens!

Here is a look at our 2015 Schedule so far. 

Pre-registration: Adust is$59/registered person through June 31st, $69 July 1 to July 31st, $85 August 1st through to event. Online registration closes Thursday night, August 31st at Midnight, 9pm. Kids 8 to 14 are $39.  Onsite registration: $85, but we cannot garuntee all goodie bag swag and t-shirt sizes will be available after August 31st.

Skills Clinics

Clinic registration here.  Skills clinics are only available to registered attendees and cost $35/clinic.

Friday, September 4th

10am -6:00pm - Packet and wrist band pick-up, onsite registration and clinic/ride sign-up at Grand Targhee Resort

Noon - 4:00pm - Demo bikes available, free, to festival registrants. Please bring your photo ID. Click here to see all our awesome demo companies!

8:00am - Sorkles open for coffee, Espresso drinks, and breakfast

11:00am Branding Iron Grill Opens for lunch.  Snorkles serviing ice cream, milkshakes, coffee drinkss and popcorn

11:30am - Trap Bar & Grill opens at Grand Targhee Resort

1:00pm - Group rides

2:00pm - Afternoon clinics begin. Limited to 12 per clinic. Clinic registration here.

  • 2 - 4:00pm: MB 101: The Basics of Mountain Biking. Covering the basics like bike set up and fit and fundamental skills like braking, climbing and descending position and cornering. Instructor: Amanda Carey
  • 2 - 4:00pm: MB101 Women's Only : Just like MB 101, but for ladies only! Covering the basics like bike set up and fit and fundamental skills like braking, climbing and descending position and cornering. Instructors: Ian & Tracy Fitzpatrick, Cycle Right

3:00pm - Group rides

8:00-9:00am - Yoga for Mountain Bikers - back deck of the Teewinot Lodge. Please bring your own mat if you have one, a few will be available. 

8:00am - X-C Race Check in

  • 9:00am-11:30: Intro to Downhill: Take some rides up the chairlift and learn everything from the key fundamental skills to downhilling (cornering, braking points, line selection, bike park etiquette) to suspension set up and riding gear/protection. Instructors: Ian & Tracy Fitzpatrick, Cycle Right

  • 1pm-3pm: MB 102: Fancy Basics of Mountain Biking. A cross-country clinic taught rolling on the Targhee XC trails. Covering more advanced fundamentals like clearing obstacles and switchback cornering and suspension and bike set up.               Instructors: Ian & Tracy Fitzpatrick, Cycle Right
  • 1pm-3pm: MB 101: A cross-country clinic taught rolling on the Targhee XC trails. Covering more advanced fundamentals like clearing obstacles and switchback cornering and bike set up. Instructor: Amanda Carey

4:00pm-5:00pm Adaptive Mountain Biking Clinic - Quadriplegic athlete and avid outdoorsman Joe Stone demos the latest technology in adaptive recreation gear, including Adaptive Off-Raod Hand Cycles. Targhee Base Area

2015 Race Information

The Grand Targhee Teton Dirt Classic

Point to point style x-c race and a Super D race, with the combined overall champion.
Field limit of 125 racers

Stage #1
Saturday September 5th -9:00am – Grand Loop- point 2 point x-c race 25 mile race,
Wydaho Rendezvous Bike fest participant $35
Non fest participant $50
Prize $ 1st men/ women $300, 2nd men /women $200, 3rd men/women $100

Stage #2 Sunday September 6th -10:00am "Wydaho Super D course-


9.9 mile long course with 3,952' vertical feet of elevation change starts on Grand Travers Trail to Upper Buffalo Drop to Rock Chuck intersection then descends Bullwinkle to the Targhee base area, a ride up Andy's to the cut off on Buffalo Soldier, then descends Colter's Escape to Mill Creek Trail and continues do descend down the Mill Creek Trail to Teton Canyon.
