2015 WYDAHO RENDEZVOUS SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

All Your Event Info is Here!  In August we will publish our event brochure listing everything from ride schedules to when the beer tent opens!

Here is a look at our 2015 Schedule so far. Rides and Clinics times are tetative.

Pre-registration: Adust is$49/registered person through June 26th, $69 June 27 to July 31st, $85 August 1st through to event. Online registration closes Thursday night, August 31st at Midnight, 9pm. Kids 8 to 14 are $39.  Onsite registration: $85, but we cannot garuntee all goodie bag swag and t-shirt sizes will be available after August 31st.

Skills Clinics

Clinic registration here.  Skills clinics are only available to registered attendees and cost $30/clinic.

Friday, September 4th

10am -6:00pm - Packet and wrist band pick-up, onsite registration and clinic/ride sign-up at Grand Targhee Resort

Snorkles open 8am at Grand Targhee Resort

11:30am - Trap Bar & Grill opens at Grand Targhee Resort

1:00pm - Group ride: Buffalo Soldier-Colter's-Mill Creek, meet at Grand Targhee Resort base area

3:00pm - Group ride: Tour "D" Ghee, meet at Grand Targhee Resort base area

Evening Events: Time to Party!

5:00pm-7:00pm - Opening ceremony, at Grand Targhee Resort

3:00pm - Snake River Brewing beer tent opens

6:30pm - Shenanigans

7:00pm - Raffle Pull

7:30pm - Music in the Trap Bar, all ages welcome

Saturday, Setember 5th

7:30am- Coffee, espresso drinks and breakfast burritos available at The General Store. Coffee also available at the Branding Iron Grill.

8:00am - Snorkles open at Grand Targhee Resort

8:00-9:00am - Yoga for Mountain Bikers - back deck of the Teewinot Lodge. Please bring your own mat if you have one, a few will be available. Instructor Erin Huckins.

  • 9:00am: Dan's South Fork of Horseshoe Adventure Ride, meet at Peaked Sports
  • 9:00am: Grand Targhee Loop, *IMBA EPIC*, meet at Targhee base area
  • 10:00am: Rail Trail Ride, meet at Habitat
  • 1:00pm: Super D Course Tour, meet at Targhee base area
  • 2:00pm: Rick's Basin Ride, meet at Targhee base area

9:00am - Morning clinics begin. Limited to 12 per clinic. Clinic registration here.

  • 9:00am–11:00: MB 101: The Basics of Mountain Biking. Covering the basics like bike set up and fit and fundamental skills like braking, climbing and descending position and cornering. Instructor: Ripstoke
  • 9:00am-11:00: Women's Only MB101: Just like MB 101, but for ladies only! Covering the basics like bike set up and fit and fundamental skills like braking, climbing and descending position and cornering. Instructor: Amanda Carey
  • 9:00am-11:30: Intro to Downhill: Take some rides up the chairlift and learn everything from the key fundamental skills to downhilling (cornering, braking points, line selection, bike park etiquette) to suspension set up and riding gear/protection. Instructor: Ripstoke

11:30am - Trap Bar & Grill opens at Grand Targhee Resort

1:00pm - Afternoon clinics begin. Limited to 12 per clinic. Clinic registration here.

  • 1pm-3pm: MB 102: Fancy Basics of Mountain Biking. A cross-country clinic taught rolling on the Targhee XC trails. Covering more advanced fundamentals like clearing obstacles and switchback cornering and suspension and bike set up. Instructor: Ripstoke
  • 1pm-3pm: Women's Only MB 102: Just like MB 102, but for ladies only! A cross-country clinic taught rolling on the Targhee XC trails. Covering more advanced fundamentals like clearing obstacles and switchback cornering and bike set up. Instructor: Amanda Carey

4:00pm-5:00pm Adaptive Mountain Biking Clinic - Quadriplegic athlete and avid outdoorsman Joe Stone demos the latest technology in adaptive recreation gear. Targhee Base Area
